Farmhouse Wreath Printables

Hi friends! Today I’m sharing a new set of farmhouse wreath printables I made over our February vacation.

There are four sayings, each in a simple farmhouse wreath. I kept them black and white so they could go with any decor, or you could use a fun colored frame.

Farmhouse Pillow Covers

Happy Valentine’s Day friends!

My mother in law gave me an Amazon gift card for my birthday last month, and I’ve been browsing for a bit thinking about what I’m going to buy with it. I’ve been thinking about sprucing up our living room for a while now, so I thought some neutral farmhouse pillow covers were a good place to start!

Switching out your throw pillows is a great way to decorate for different seasons and holidays, but it’s also nice to have some neutral pillows that can be used any time of year. I’ve written about my love of throw pillow covers over throw pillows before, but I’ll say it again: throw pillow covers are so much better than throw pillows! They can be taken off and washed easily (hello, 3 year old twins over here!) and they take up almost no space when you’re storing them. Pillow covers are a no brainer, in my book!

I’m still brainstorming some ideas for the living room, and I hope to share my plan with you soon. Still, I’m sure some of these pillow covers will make their way into the new design. You’ll have to come back and see which ones I choose!

Since I’ve been browsing through Amazon’s stock of farmhouse pillow covers, I thought I’d share a roundup with you, my lovely readers. I found some really cute ones! I included some stripes, checks, polka dots, and some text designs, so I hope you find something you love. I love all the cute sayings, but nothing says farmhouse to me like the cute checkered patterns.

If you’re looking for some adorable farmhouse pillow covers that can be used all year long, look no further, I have the ultimate farmhouse pillow cover roundup for you!

Rustic Neutral Farmhouse Kitchen Decor

The ultimate list of rustic neutral farmhouse kitchen decor!

Hi friends!

How was your long weekend? I always try to get stuff done and relax a little on the weekends, which is a lot easier when we have an extra day!

I had a super fun birthday surprise: my farmhouse bins and baskets post went crazy on Pinterest! I’ve gotten a lot of new folks here at my blog over the weekend, so if that’s you, welcome! Since that post was so popular (and fun to write!) I thought I’d do another farmhouse roundup.  This time I’m focusing on rustic farmhouse kitchen decor.

I have big dreams for my kitchen: white cabinets, dark counters, open shelving, new floors, rustic lighting, and of course, farmhouse style! I’m not quite ready to tackle any of these things at the moment, but virtual shopping for when it is done is a super fun way to get inspiration!

I’m excited to share my latest farmhouse roundup with you! I kept the accents neutral with a lot of white, metal, and wood.  Adding any of these pieces will instantly give your current kitchen some farmhouse style!

Some of my favorites are the ‘I drink coffee for your protection’ sign, the coffee + tea + sugar canisters, and the adorable printed tea towels.

Rustic Farmhouse Baskets and Bins for Organizing

The ultimate list of rustic farmhouse baskets and bins, perfect for organizing every room in your house and adding a touch of farmhouse style to your decor.

I’m so excited to share these amazing rustic farmhouse baskets and bins with you!  They are perfect for organizing any room in your house AND will add a touch of farmhouse style to your decor.  And these roundups are so super fun to make, too!

There is just something about the new year that makes me want to ORGANIZE ALL THE THINGS. The new year gives me such a mental boost!  I feel like I have a fresh opportunity to do things better.  Streamline, organize, and kick 2017’s butt!!

As I’ve been organizing areas of my house this past week, I’ve noticed how much I use baskets, bins, and other containers to store items.  I use different sizes and materials in different areas of the house, but they really are useful in any room!

I use them in the kitchen:

  • to organize pantry items like granola bars, crackers, baking items, etc.
  • to store flour and sugar
  • on the counter for fruit
  • in the fridge for cheeses sticks and Baby Bell cheeses

I use them in the living room:

  • for throw blankets
  •  for toys
  • for kids’ books

I use them in our dining room hutch:

  • to organize mail
  • for kids’ art supplies
  • in drawers for pens, stamps, and other office supplies

I use them in the bathroom:

  • to store washcloths and towels
  • to organize toiletries and medicine
  • to organize jewelry, hair ties, and bobby pins

I use them in the bedrooms:

  • in the kids’ room for toys
  • in drawers for socks and underwear
  • in the closet for out of season items

Of course not all of the containers I use are farmhouse cute, but some of the baskets and bins below are definitely on my list!  My favorites are the wire and burlap baskets (#6), the galvanized metal pail trio (#20), and the farm animal bins (#21). I think the metal pail trio would be adorable on a desk for pens and pencils or in a kids’ space to organize crayons and art supplies.  I also love the chicken wire wall bins (#18).  They would be great in a mudroom for mittens and hats or even in the kitchen for fruit.

What are your favorites?  How do you use baskets and bins to organize in your home?

Farmhouse Enamelware Roundup

Hi friends!  We’re officially back to school here at Sweet Maple Lane, and are starting to settle into a new routine.  I’m missing those lazy days of summer for sure!  I’m excited to share a farmhouse enamelware roundup with you today!

If you saw my recent hutch reveal, you know that I now have a beautiful new hutch to decorate for the seasons.  Yay! I love to change out my decor for each season, but it’s also nice to have some neutral pieces that you can use all year.  One thing that I’ve been looking at recently is white enamelware.  Nothing says farmhouse like white enamelware!  It’s simple and neutral, can stay on your shelf all year, and go with any season.  I thought I’d share some of the pieces I’ve been looking at, in case you’re looking for some too!
